So, you've written your first draft and now you're ready to rewrite it. Oops! is what you say when you realize writing the first draft was a lot easier. And you start wishing first drafts were the only thing you had to do.
As a writer, I learn to appreciate editors. It's a lot easier for them to cut and throw those unneeded statements and ideas out. Mainly, because they have no attachment to them. Your ideas, as an author, are your babies and you cannot seem to throw them out even when they're out of place. Though hard, but it is possible to do. Just figure out the purpose for that particular writing. If any statements or ideas don't contribute to that purpose then just remove them and save them elsewhere. That's how I take the Angst out of rewriting first drafts. Still need help, click here
